#NNOpenHouse: Single-Vineyard Wines and Chill

It was pure beach vibes at this year's Nickel & Nickel Open House, despite the rain. We pulled the corks on some exciting single-vineyard wines, including the newest addition to the collection: the 2014 Nickel & Nickel Bear Flat Merlot. This exciting vineyard rests on the west side of Napa Valley's Oak Knoll District, and the first vintage from this cooler site gave us juicy plum and spice flavors and an irresistibly full, smooth texture.

Our sister winery, EnRoute, also joined us for the day, and we transformed our historic Gleason Barn into the first-ever EnRoute Pinot Noir Salon. For more details about our first-ever Salon, check out the post here.

We also put together a full Nickel & Nickel Open House photo album here, and shared some great photo highlights from the day, below.

After all, what's a little rain when single-vineyard wine is on the line?
